Old and New Testament Scriptures and Messianic symbols (Menorah, Star of David, and Fish) are beautifully embroidered on the four corners of the shawl. Each tzitzit (fringe or tassel), has one blue thread called a techelet and seven white threads. A blue dye from snails is used to produce the techelet in the tzitzits as has been done for centuries.

From the time of Moses, when the tabernacle was too small to hold everyone, the Jewish people have pulled their prayer shawls over their heads to create a private meeting place with God. Today, prayer shawls are becoming popular with many Christians as one of the symbols of our Jewish roots. They are a reminder of God's presence.
